We thought you were dead

Vali,

BLOODY ROMANIANS !!!!!! I tell you every year. In early spring fishing is bad in the morning, but as long as there is some sun the afternoon they feed in the shallow water. I just bet you were in your little spot by the Pines ???

Get into the reedy bay nest weekend at 1 pm........and put plenty of bait in when you leave as that will be my first place to try in a little over two weeks

Jeff

Emmmm.

Thinking about my last comment......The shallow water is probably still frozen over. My apologies Vali...but afternoon is still the best time :)

Also When the ice melts fully I will show you my secret special spring spot to make up for it !!!!

Jeff

Thanks Jeff , I now have to fish late in the day , but that was the only time I have for fishing , Carmen is not ready for the new season , but I work on that   .
Ohhh , one small point , the water level is 3-4 ft. low than last november , I hope they will close the dam , and we have normal fishing condition , if stay like is now , is not so good .

Hi Vali,

That is interesting about the water level, but it does not worry me too much. In my expirience ONLY sudden drops in water level ( like September last year) have a big effect.

If there is lest water there are less places for them to hide!!!

Let me know if you fish this weekend

Jeff
