The weather in Canada can change from long johns to thongs and back again in a dingle day. Mostly you can expect pleasant conditions and sun but be prepared!!

Normal holidays health and accident insurance plus any special medication.
A bottle of win for your hosts ( not obligatory but very much appreciated as it is the only essential thing that we have found expensive in Canada). Long Sault is very close to a major shopping area and Canada in the main is a lot cheaper than the UK, almost anything you need can be easily bought.

WHAT NOT TO BRING :

Please, please do not come out to me with size 8 hooks, 15lb nylon, 20lb hooklinks, 2oz weights, etc. So many first timers waste the day or two loosing fish, pulling hooks, hook lenghts breaking... Take the time to read the forum section on rigs and tackle, by all mean try your favorite technique but scale it up!!
